Whenever a video wants to sell you a definite good guy with a face and a definite bad guy with a face, be skeptic. Reality is rarely straightforward and easy, but streamlining it makes it marketable. It sells better. Invisible Children is not the devil. But it's also not what the video is trying to sell you. So think about where your donation goes twice, please.

Kony isn't the next Hitler. His strategies are common among African warlords. American uranium ammunition in the Middle East is crippling multiple generations of unborn kids. Israel is systematically cutting water supplies to break the will of its enemies' civilians. Doesn't make Kony better, but puts him in perspective, no?
