Big picture, lazy background and overused ~oh so pwetty~ effects. Didn't like the lineart anymore and just wanted to be done with it. :d

Tal itha and Ferius, two characters of mine. The latter used to be an exceptionally smart crow, now he's a friggin black metal phoenix familiar running on blood magic and potassium compounds.

No, shadows don't work that way. Yes this picture didn't turn out as I wanted it to in more way than one, but this is the best compromise in my opinion
